It's A Tent!

Here's my latest sewing creation that I finished today.  It's a tent for the kids for Christmas.  I did NOT come up with this idea on my own though.  It came from here, which my friend Stephanie first told me about.  With help from my mom and sister we got a pattern worked out for the panels and the rest was easy.  Thanks to Chuck also for cutting the hula hoops to size.

Abby's toy kitty, appropriately named Kitty, is in there for scale.

I'm pretty jazzed!

p.s. - I also really love this and want to try it, not necessarily camo though, since the new obsession around here is playing under the kitchen table!

Looks great! Ours is red. The kids love it, but one of our hula hoops broke. I am waiting for Dollar Tree to have them again to fix it. lol

I just fixed my blog to give you the credit for introducing me to this. Honestly, I was too lazy to put in links and stuff last night when I was writing this up! I've broken a hoop before for something else and am fully expecting at least one of these to break. :) The last time I was at the D.T. I saw a few hoops so maybe one near you has a couple stragglers!
