Still Here

Hello there!  Yes, I'm still here even though it doesn't seem like it.  We've been busy with a vacation, horrid weather, a funeral, and finishing up things for VBS which kicks off tomorrow night.

For a quick recap:

1.  We drove to Destin, FL for some family vacation time with a brief stop in Natchez, MS to visit some dear friends.

2.  Tornadoes came very near our home and destroyed 2 neighboring communities while we were gone.  One of our church members met her Savior during this.  Pray for Cheryl's husband, 2 children, and other family members.  Chuck flew home early to conduct the funeral.

3.  We had an unexpected brief visit with Grammy which was very nice.  Thanks for helping with the trek back, Grammy!

4.  Our church kicks off VBS tomorrow night with a family fun night.  The theme this year is Big Apple Adventure and the key scripture is "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God." - Romans 10:17.  We are praying for a great harvest for the Kingdom.  The VBS director's kids are just a little excited about it and the giant bounce house that will park itself on our front lawn tomorrow.  :)
