This is a bit late in coming, but here it is nonetheless. At Caleb's 2-week-old check-up he was weighed and found to be eating quite well. He had gained nearly a pound, 13 oz to be exact, from his birth weight! All kids lose some weight right after birth and he lost 6 oz by the time we came home, so that means a gain of 19 oz in a little less than 2 weeks. His pediatrician was funny - she looked at all of his weights and said "I don't think I need to ask if nursing is going well." Nope, no problems here, thank goodness! Caleb continues to fill out and I've had to put almost all of the newborn-size clothes away and some of the diapers got tight on his fat little legs. Baby fat rolls are so cute! One of my sisters calls the dimples on baby bottoms cottage cheese and I definitely saw cottage cheese on Caleb's legs when he was laying down the other day. Thus the name Mr. Beefy!
Abby is definitely not beefy. At the age of 28 months she can still easily wear some 18 month size clothes... I have a bad feeling both kids will weigh the same in the near future. :) Abby is so funny with how she loves on Caleb and the things she says about him. "Mommy, he's so precious." "Ohhhh, he's so cute!" She is my right-hand gal, right there to help with diaper changes, turning the swing on for Caleb, and making sure he has his paci whenever he starts to cry. I'll have to remember these days very well so that I can picture them to block out their fighting in a few years! We're sinful people, it's bound to happen.
I guess this is the place where I give a little photo update...

Abby enjoying some cookies!

Something I hear all the time "Mommy, I want to hold him."
Blissful sleeping on his quilt from Grammy. Abby checked on him every few minutes.

Wow - big boy! He's a cutie :) So glad to hear that Abby has taken over the role so well as big sister!
Caleb is very handsome! He looks so peaceful sleeping. You can definitely see the love in Abby's eyes when she's holding him. Love you guys!!!
