So he's finally here!!! We welcomed Caleb on June 30th at 10:13am and couldn't be happier! He was 7lbs 3oz and 19 1/4 inches long and did not waste any time coming into my arms! We chose his name because we liked it and Caleb means "faithful" and Matthew means "gift of God." You can't go wrong with that! I was thankful to have a short 4 hour labor and for everything going perfectly, complete with my doctor walking through the door quite literally just in time. He and the nurses were so great and all the nurses that ever walked into my room during our stay were so kind and helpful.
The hardest part was being away from Abby for some of the time. Thankfully, my parents were here and able to take care of her and bring her to the hospital to see us. She's done so well with the adjustment but I'm not sure how I'm going to do tomorrow when my parents are gone. Oh well, just have to wait for the next visit. Here's a cute picture of Abby and Caleb when he's about an hour old. :) I love my kiddos!

Congrats to you all! Four hours?! Good job, Melissa. And I can't wait to see more pictures. I am not on FB right now, so this is the first I've seen of him. So sweet!
