Well, alas it is Thursday again and another Dr. visit. On Sunday I'll be 40 weeks (oh yeah, I feel it too) so we talked about what to do next in case Baby G doesn't come by Sunday. Neither of us were very comfortable with going much past the due date and given that Abby was 8lbs 6oz at only 3 days late, I'm a little nervous to find out how big this boy can get all on his own. But, like my mom reminded me earlier today, God has it in His hands and He already knows how this birth will happen. I'm so thankful to have parents who love my family and me so much, pray for us, and remind us of God's love also!
Abby was so cute after the appointment today, telling us that her baby brother says "boom boom boom" because that's what she hears when we listen to the heartbeat. Then at dinner she was talking about it again and put the food-holding part of her fork on her stomach and said "baby brother here" - she was imitating the doppler the Dr. used on me this morning. It will be interesting when he's here with us! I can't wait!

she will do great! i will tell you, that reese was not interested at all while we were in the hospital, she was much more concerned with her mommy and why i was in the bed w/ nurses checking me, but once we walked in our front door she was loving on piper like crazy! so dont be alarmed if it doesnt happen right away. can't wait to see pics of the little guy!
