Harvest Hayride

Last night was our church's annual Harvest Hayride and we had so much fun, until bedtime rolled around.  Of course.  We got to take a hayride to the location of the festivities and then the kids had a huge pile of straw to dig through to find treasures.  Then it was time to roast hot dogs and marshmallows and fill up on all kinds of yummy cook-out type food.

Caleb was grumpy after it got dark, especially if I wasn't holding him, but Abby had lots of fun chasing the other kids and chatting with them.  She's begun talking a lot more to people without being prompted and it is cute to see her interacting on her own.

Caleb enjoys "flying" a lot more than Abby ever did.
(How about that shirt, Aunt Kim?)

All set for the hayride!

Digging for treasures.

Caleb checking out his loot.  He fit in with all the other guys and their camo jackets.

We sat them on the haybale and they did the rest.  I love those kids!

Caleb looks JUST like Chuck in the last picture. Absolutely adorable. Love those kids!
