This morning I heard one of the cutest things from Caleb. The scary thing is I almost missed it! He loves to just babble and make truck noises and squeal that I almost dismissed his "noise" as noise. He said it again and it was "Mamama, I need a nana!" and pointed at the bananas! So cute, but I wondered at first if I heard it right so I gave him his banana and he proceeded to wolf it down. Yep, heard him right!
I'm so proud of him for communicating what he wanted with words instead of whining. I guess at times it seems like he doesn't say anything, but he does have a big sister who is VERY helpful in meeting his needs/wants by reading his mind. And with all the chatter that comes out of her mouth it is hard for anyone else to get a word in, much less a sentence!
I might have to start wearing earplugs once he really gets going, because between the two of them... oh my!
