It's garden time again! We are trying something different this year - raised beds! Chuck was my hero and built them for me and mixed in rabbit manure also. I know, I know. Someone take away my city girl card. I actually purchased rabbit poop from the local nursery. BUT, it is supposed to be basically magic for gardens. Abby enjoyed singing "we're going to get some bunny rabbit poo-poo!" for a few days. Don't you wish you could be a fly on the wall here?
So far I've planted tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapenos, tomatillos, broccoli, cucumbers, and marigolds that the kids picked out. Looks like there is still room for some more tomatoes or something else. Hmmm.
All of the berry plants have blooms on them also! I hope we have so much that we have to give tons to other people!
