Thanksgiving

Oh yes, Thanksgiving was a couple of weeks ago, but when you have a child who refuses to sleep for longer than 45 minutes at a time during daylight you just have to let the blog go. Anywho, we had a fabulous Thanksgiving this year and I was so pleased that everything turned out! Three of us ate the meal and one of us ate rice cereal while intensely eyeing the meal. Next year, buddy, next year. I tried something new that I've neither eaten nor made in the past and it was a hit - watergate salad. It has another name that I don't recall but we all liked it a lot. And who wouldn't when half the ingredients are marshmallows and Cool Whip?!? Here are some pictures:

Abby and I also got to do a fun craft (idea courtesy of Grammy) where we took blank notecards, painted her hand, and made prints on the fronts of the cards. I think we used about 12 different colors for 50 notecards (yes, 50, and we had to repaint her hand for each one!) and they turned out really cute. Now I have plenty of personalized thank-you or whatever notes! And speaking of Mr. Catnapper, I hear him now. Finished the post just in time. Sigh...
