Last week Abby and Chuck had an official Daddy/daughter date to the local donut shop. She was up bright and early and bounced into our room full of energy to start the weekend. As usual she said "Can you get me something? I'm hungry." Chuck asked if she wanted to go get some donuts and she said "Okay! Mommy, you want to come too?" Nope, someone's got to stay with the little boy who was still snoozing because he had already been up at 5am.
Anyway off they were, Mr. Sweet and Miss Cute, to get a donut for "bweaskwast." Abby got to choose the donut she wanted and picked "the one with brown on it and pink fings." (chocolate glazed with pink sprinkles - just in case you needed the translation) She had so much fun and wanted to go again the next morning! Ha ha! And, she even brought a donut home for Mommy! What a girl!

That is sweet. Lucy always wants sprinkles as well. :)
