I just had another OB visit and things are progressing as they should. I'm so thankful that so far this is another textbook pregnancy! My dr. said I'm to come back every 2 weeks for a while and since I'll begin the 3rd trimester on Monday we're really getting to the home stretch. I'm very ready to meet this little guy and have him in our family, although he definitely is in our family even in utero. Abby can say his name, which is so cute, and likes to kiss him from time to time. :) She also pretends to hold him when she cradles her arms and says "oh, baby, oooh." Bossiness and jealousy are sure to appear but she's such a little mommy already, I'm sure she'll mostly be great with him.
Later we took Abby to JCPenney to have her 2-year-old picture made. She hammed it up and we got some great pictures but had to choose just one (that's what the coupon allowed!) and can't wait to pick them up in a couple of weeks. I still stop and stare at the 1-year-old picture we did last year and am amazed. I don't even know how to explain it except to say how grateful I am that God chose to loan me that precious child. Next year we'll have 2 of these appointments to make! Whoa.
