Okay, well it turns out that the garbage disposal wasn't actually broken. After taking the disposal out and a lot of digging around Chuck pulled out 2 silicone mini muffin cups and a mangled metal cake decorating tip, the big problem. These items were used in making Abby's birthday "cake" but I don't know how they got down into the disposal. Guess I'll be more careful from now on. Now we just need to go back to Lowe's with the replacement disposal and get our money back.
On a different note, the heater went out last night. It was just blowing cold air and since we got into the low 30s last night I was really mad because it was just about too cold in the house. Someone is supposed to fix it today and I hope it is an easy and quick fix. I really hope nothing else goes wrong but if it is going to I'd rather it happen before I'm sleep deprived and have a newborn!
