Leaving, On A Jet Plane...

Well it's more like "left" on a jet plane but whatever.  Earlier this month the kids and I got to fly down to Houston to visit my family (minus Aunt Kaki who claimed something about working on a Ph.D. ...) for a week!  It was so fun, and although we did miss Daddy, it was nice to catch up in person and get recharged.

Chuck stayed home because the weekend we were gone was one of the busiest for him with the Sportsmen's Lunch put on by our church.  Chuck heads it all up and if you are interested in seeing what it was about you can check out the church's website at http://www.webbcitybaptistchurch.org/ .

We did lots of fun things like help Grammy at the food pantry where she volunteers, take pictures with PawPaw's camera (that was Abby), swim in the pool, visit the fountains, walk to the parks 17ish times, and climb up and down the stairs at least 100 times!

Aunt Kim and Uncle Travis came and brought "cousin" Barton who was slightly neglected in favor of Abby and Caleb at times.  Sorry Barton.  (I did not have my head in the game and forgot to take pictures of Aunt & Uncle time.  Ugh!)

Abby is so funny and is still talking about things from the trip, most notably was Sunday when she announced, "Uncle Travis says 'I'm obnoxious!'" and then giggled and giggled.  Anyway, great trip and now we look forward to Thanksgiving when we'll ALL be there!!!

Helping Grammy re-stock!

Meeting Fred, the almost real dog.  And no, the bottle of Ensure that Caleb is holding has no significance, he just wanted to carry it around.

Playing in the fountains (yes, they are clean).

 Found another treasure.

Doesn't every 14-month-old need a noseplug?
